The exhibitions are over two floors, the ground floor and the gallery which is accessed by stairs – there is no lift to the gallery. If you are unable to use the stairs  you can view the gallery exhibits using the virtual tour on the computer in reception.

The shop stocks attractive gifts and souvenirs.  New and second-hand publications about the area’s history and other subjects of local interest are available.  An ideal opportunity to find something to remind you of your visit to Beaminster or to find a present for a friend.

The Reference Section contains the museum’s ‘support collection’ of books, maps and other resources dealing with the history of the Beaminster area in particular and Dorset in general.

We also have a a meeting room and a kitchen, both of which are available for hire.

There is a toilet on the ground floor which can be accessed by wheelchair users.
