The winter close season has probably been the busiest in the history of the museum. Many existing displays have been revamped and/or relocated, new ‘permanent’ displays prepared and the 2014 season’s ‘temporary’ exhibitions prepared and mounted.

New to the Museum: Water, Rubbish, Drawing Inspiration (landscape changes), Richard Hine, Flax and Hemp, Police, Cathy Freeman (the Australian Aboriginal 400 metres gold medal winner descended from a local family).
Moved and revamped exhibitions: Domestic Life, Workhouse, War, Pubs & Inns, Transport, Horn Hill Tunnel, Trades and Crafts, Technology.
